Connections

Everything here is read-only: the Office never sends email, never changes Xero, never pays anything. Passwords and keys are saved in your Mac's Keychain — never in a file, never shown again.

Xero

  1. Go to developer.xero.com/app/manage → New app. Choose Mobile or desktop app (PKCE).
  2. Name it Harwood Office. For the redirect URI enter exactly
  3. Copy the app's Client ID below, save, then press Connect to Xero and sign in.

Gmail

  1. Make sure 2-Step Verification is on for your Google account.
  2. Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords, create one called Harwood Office, and copy the 16 letters.
  3. In Gmail: Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Enable IMAP (if it isn't already).

AI for email tasks

  1. Emails are sent to Anthropic's Claude to be turned into tasks. Business API data isn't used to train models.
  2. Create a key at platform.claude.com → API keys, and paste it below.

Calendar

  1. Google Calendar → Settings → your calendar → Secret address in iCal format. Copy it.
